My Story

Drawing inspiration from classic rock bands, I channel my grandmother's name, Blecker, into my artist persona, Alex Blecker.

This choice reflects my gratitude towards my ancestry and serves as a beacon of recognition in an endless sea of dreams.

With a blend of classic influences and contemporary vision, I embody the spirit of resilience and creativity.

From a kid listening to rock in his bedroom, to an apprentice of classical piano and a guitar player

who brought the dream from his couch to some pretty amazing places, gigs and people here and there.

I am Alex Blecker, a.k.a. Camilo Cubides, born in Colombia, a proudly Canadian ambassador,

A musician on a mission to transcend borders with my rock/pop sound.

Rooted in the legacy of classic bands and fuelled by the power of music and love and relentless spirit.
